Born : Owasco Lake, a finger Lake near Auburn, N.Y.
Married Peter Swallow & in 1970 moved to Farmington Me.
We are grateful & happy to have raised Hannah, Eric, Molly & Sally & enjoy sharing Porter Lake with them, their spouses & nine "grand younguns".
In 1986 we built a minimalist log cabin on Porter Lake & have been active as PLA members & officers.
As a W. S. I , I ran and taught the PLA swim program several summers.
Trained by the Maine Lakes Society, (MLS), we continue to promote & oversee the MLS Lake Smart Educational Opportunity which Jean Ferrari initially began for the PLA.
My career included Motherhood, Guidance Counselor at Mt. Blue H. S., Personal & Career Counselor at UMF & Director of Service Learning at UMF.
While employed by UMF I studied art for years resulting in a passion for painting with watercolor, oils, & pastels.
I take pleasure in being outdoors observing the natural environment while gardening, painting, swimming, kayaking, hiking, skiing & sitting on our dock.
