Profession: Taught junior and senior life sciences for 33 years included advanced placement bio, environmental education, other general life sciences. Science department head 15 years, co-chair of science curriculum development for grades 1-12.

Peter Swallow
Born: Rumford, Maine, practiced dentistry for nearly 40 yrs. in Farmington, Me.
Peter served as PLA president for several years and was involved in several PLA accomplishments. These included the dam & auxiliary spillway reconstruction, the PLA incorporation into a 501C-3 status, and the acquisition of the island gifted by Marjorie White, Nan Starbird Reed & Craig Starbird as well as the Marjorie White lake frontage land.
Having grown up on Rangeley Lake, he enjoys nature & embraces all aspects of Lake life, especially sitting on our dock watching the sunrises and sunsets.
