 Family: wife Kathy, sons Hank of Haverhill; and Peter of New Zealand, grandson Jarith, granddaughter Beth, fiancé Jesse, great grandson Remington.

 Interests: Hunting, fishing, fly tying, water sports, birding, reading, archery, raising orchids

 Education: Undergrad biology degree at UNH where Kathy & I met in anatomy and physiology. Graduate school at Dartmouth; studied meteorology (emphasis on climate change), phycology (algae), environmental concerns and other science topics.

 Profession: Taught junior and senior life sciences for 33 years included advanced placement bio, environmental education, other general life sciences. Science department head 15 years, co-chair of science curriculum development for grades 1-12.

The lady that travels around the lake in the green kayak.

 Residence – Porter Lake, New Vineyard, Maine. Family has been on Porter Lake since the 1960’s.

 Married to – Bob Rutigliano

 Children – Gina and son in law Nick B.   Imma and son in law Nick M. Sara and boyfriend Alex

Peter Swallow

Born: Rumford, Maine, practiced dentistry for nearly 40 yrs. in Farmington, Me.
Peter served as PLA president for several years and was involved in several PLA accomplishments. These included the dam & auxiliary spillway reconstruction, the PLA incorporation into a 501C-3 status, and the acquisition of the island gifted by Marjorie White, Nan Starbird Reed & Craig Starbird as well as the Marjorie White lake frontage land.
Having grown up on Rangeley Lake, he enjoys nature & embraces all aspects of Lake life, especially sitting on our dock watching the sunrises and sunsets.
